A closer who improvises on a $5,000 offer is gambling with your best leads.

High-ticket sales is where the money is made or lost. Every booked call costs you real ad spend and setter time. Then the call goes to a closer who wings the pitch, skips discovery, discounts to win and leaves you with refunds and chargebacks a month later.

When you hire a high-ticket closer through RevHires, they learn your offer, your call structure and your top closer's objection handling before day one. They run your process, not their favorite script from a course. Every call gets scored for discovery depth, objection handling and close rate. A pod lead reviews recordings weekly. If a closer cannot hold your standard, we replace them at no extra staffing charge.

The role

What does a High-Ticket Closer do?

A high-ticket closer, also called a sales closer, remote closer or enrollment advisor, runs the final sales conversation for premium offers, typically priced in the thousands. Coaching programs, agencies, info products, home improvement and B2B services all use them. The closer reviews the setter's notes, leads a structured discovery call, presents the offer, handles objections and collects payment or a signed agreement. They do not generate their own leads. Their job is to convert qualified, booked calls into revenue without creating buyer's remorse.

Pre-call preparation

Reviews setter notes, application answers and the prospect's CRM history before every call. Researches the prospect's business or situation in a few minutes so the call opens with relevant context, not generic small talk that wastes the first ten minutes.

Structured discovery

Runs your discovery framework to surface the prospect's current situation, desired outcome, obstacles and cost of inaction. Asks follow-up questions until the real pain is on the table, which is what justifies a high price later in the call.

Offer presentation

Presents your offer using the prospect's own words from discovery. Connects each component to a specific problem they described, explains pricing and payment options clearly, and avoids overpromising results your delivery team cannot back up.

Objection handling

Handles price, timing, spouse or partner, and trust objections using the responses your best closer uses. Isolates the real objection, addresses it directly with proof and asks for a clear decision, without the pressure tactics that drive refunds and damage your reputation.

Payment collection

Collects payment on the call through Stripe, your payment processor or financing partner, or sends a contract through DocuSign or PandaDoc. Confirms the buyer understands the terms, payment schedule and refund policy before hanging up, which reduces disputes and chargebacks down the line.

Follow-up on open deals

Follows up with prospects who did not decide on the call, using the agreed next step and timeline. Sends recap emails, answers lingering questions and books second calls, rather than letting warm prospects drift away.

Handoff to onboarding

Passes new clients to onboarding or fulfillment with a clean summary of goals, concerns and promises made on the call. That handoff sets expectations correctly for both sides, gives your delivery team a head start and protects your retention, referrals and reviews.

Call review and pipeline reporting

Logs outcomes, objections and cash collected in Close, GoHighLevel or HubSpot. Reviews recorded calls in Gong or Zoom with the pod lead each week and reports show rate, close rate and cash collected per call, so you can see exactly where deals are won and lost.

How we screen for this role

High-ticket closer candidates run two full mock sales calls on Zoom: one with a qualified buyer who raises price and spouse objections, and one with a poor-fit prospect they should disqualify. We score discovery depth, how they present value, objection handling and whether they ask for the decision without pressure. We also test written follow-up. Only candidates who close the right call and walk away from the wrong one make your shortlist.

Cost

US hire vs RevHires: the real monthly cost

The US figure is the midpoint of Glassdoor's base pay range for high-ticket sales roles, about $84,500 a year, converted to monthly pay and loaded by 30% for payroll tax and benefits. Many US closers are paid mostly on commission, so total pay often runs far higher. Commission is excluded here. Through RevHires, a full-time hire in this role typically earns $10 to $25 per hour. The RevHires figure uses the top of that range, $25 per hour at 40 hours, paid direct to your hire or through RevHires, plus one flat placement fee. Want the team managed for you? Done-for-you pricing is covered on your strategy call.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before they hire

How much does it cost to hire a high-ticket closer?

Through RevHires, a full-time high-ticket closer typically earns $10 to $25 per hour, about $1,730 to $4,330 per month, paid direct to your hire or through RevHires. You pay one flat placement fee, and only when you hire. Want the team managed for you? Done-for-you pricing is covered on your strategy call.

How fast can I hire a high-ticket closer and put them on calls?

Seven days. Day 1 is discovery on your offer, price points and current close process. Days 2 and 3 clone your call framework and objection handling. Days 4 and 5 are mock sales calls on your offer. Day 6 calibrates QA. On day 7 your closer takes live booked calls.

Can a remote closer build trust with US buyers?

Trust comes from preparation, listening and a clear process, and that is what we train. Our closers are college-educated with near-native English and many have enterprise sales experience. They pass recorded closing role plays before you see them, then learn your offer and your top closer's language through SOP voice cloning.

What hours do your closers work?

Your closer works your US hours, scheduled to your calendar. Many high-ticket offers book calls in the evening or on weekends because that is when prospects are free, and we can build shifts around that. We also support Canadian, UK and Australian time zones for teams selling into those markets.

How do you keep closers from using pushy tactics that cause refunds?

We score more than close rate. Daily QA scorecards track discovery depth, objection handling and refund risk, and a RevHires pod lead reviews recorded calls every week. Closers are trained on your approved offers and terms only. If a closer overpromises or pressures, it gets caught in review and corrected immediately.

How is buyer and payment information protected?

Every engagement runs under an NDA and our data handling protocols. Closers use your CRM, calendar and payment tools with permissions you set, and you can revoke access at any time. If your offer is in healthcare, we sign a BAA and train closers on HIPAA-aligned data handling before they take a single call.

What if the closer I hire through RevHires is not closing?

The scorecards will show it quickly, and the pod lead starts coaching on specific calls. If close rate does not recover, we replace the closer quickly at no extra staffing charge, and the replacement trains on the same cloned framework. You stay month to month, so you are never locked in.
